Socialization is the process of learning how to become part of a culture. Through socialization one learns the culture’s language, their role in life, and what is expected from them. Socialization is a very important process in the forming of personality. Socialization occurs when one interacts with other people.

While opinions vary as to the extent and type of influence the mass media wields, all sides agree that mass media is a permanent part of modern culture.
The act that one does, the act that one performs, is, in a sense, an act that has been going on before one arrived on the scene.
